Banor supported Marevivo for the removal of a ghost fishing net

Banor supported Marevivo for the removal of a 300 meters long ghost net weighing around 450 kg. The operation was completed on the weekend of 12-13 November 2022 at Secche di Vada, in the Ligurian Sea.

The removal involved an area particularly rich in biodiversity and fish fauna and thus made it possible to restore oxygen in the sea.
